The apparent Anarresti view of illness as a moral failure, which is handwaved as existing due to their medical system being so good???, makes the fact that so far disability/disabled characters have been completely untouched narratively makes this book the perfect example of how even the best intentioned able-bodied person is still ableist

Handwaving how labour is divided and goods are distributed on Anarres with "computers did it right from the beginning of this civilization" is more than a little silly as someone who works with them professionally. Computers are neither infallible nor their programs without bias, unless Le Guin contends that anarchists are immediately without bias
