I’m so incredibly bored and underwhelmed. I should quit… My gut is screaming for me to trust it and pull the plug now but… I’m pressing on. For now…

Waaaaahhhhh! This is soooooo good. It’s making my heart so happy. Normally when I make this kind of an update I always worry that gushing will jinx it but not toady! It’s ’Nathan Burgoine and he’s never, ever let me down. I adore his stories ☺️

I’m only a few pages in and I’m so in love with this sweet story. I hope I haven’t jinxed it and it continues to make my heart overflow with lovely feels.

Regarding my previous update about not receiving updates when people comment on my reviews despite having those notification settings turned on, I also wonder whether or not I’ll get notifications when people comment on on my status updates. Would someone comment on this one to help me determine the answer, please? Thanks 😁😘

Just a head’s up: I’m not getting notifications when people comment on my reviews. I have my settings turned on to get those notifications but despite the setting, I’m not getting them. So if you comment and I don’t respond, know that’s why. I’ll try to remember to check the “Notify me when people comment” box on each new review and hopefully the settings sort themselves for all my old reviews soon.

I’m so bored. There’s a lot of intrigue but so little character interaction other than what has to do with the nefarious and circuitous assassination plotting. I want to know how it ends but also really want to DNF 😫

My anxiety for Andrej is through the roof 😫

At this point, I think this may be my favorite of the series so far. I need to get to sleep but it’s sooooo hard to put down.

What are the chances you’re driving along and see an animal along the road that you think is a deer but when you get out of your car, discover is a… … … beagle? How do you mistake a BEAGLE for a deer? 🤦🏻‍♀️ I could believe you might mistake a tan/light brown greyhound or Great Dane for a deer from the corner of your eye, but a BEAGLE? Does Jensen know what beagles and deer look like? 🙄

I have so much of this chapter highlighted 😆 I just love the entire story so much and this chapter is full of ~why~.

I love how Suki writes the way Gregor and Sian approach conflict, the way they fight and reflect on each other and themselves and then make up. It’s really beautiful.
