What a breath of fresh air this is. I've been meaning to read your work ever since the New Zealand Pagan Fest I was at that you came to work with us in the early 2000s Philip (or was it late 1990s???). I wish we could re-create those times again. It is one of my dreams to walk the Ancient Ways of Britain (again...I'm pretty sure I did it in a previous life). One day I will!

I'm trying very hard to get those hands out of my head. If I have nightmares tonight, I'll know who to blame thank you Ms Winterson.

I am LOVING this in that 'it's so well-written and so OH MY GOD it's happening NOW!' kind of way...scary...

I was trying SO hard to get this book read before 2026 hit but unfortunately I've failed...

I'm sure I could have read more if the loud children's librarian at my local library hadn't been reading kid's books so loud, leading deafening Christmas songs, nor getting the kids to shake jingly instruments as hard as they could at midday. My ears are still ringing and I was at the farthest point away from the din. Why can't adults have an 'adults only, quiet reading room' in my local? Who pays for the library?

I'm not getting as much read as I'd like thanks to Novel November :D
