So far this is okay. The snarky commentary/responses/banter from Poppy is, at times, too much. Her emotional reaction to not knowing events that have happened in Alex’s life makes me wonder who stopped speaking first.

This author is hit or miss for me.

Only reading this to determine if I want to watch the Netflix movie or not.

It’s unbelievable how long some of these paragraphs are, especially since some of them are comprised of sentences that could be considered run-sentences, and because they are connected by commas and conjunctions, it’s becoming tiresome. I am finding myself skipping paragraphs because I want to get to actual dialogue and don’t care about the details or thoughts going through the mind of the character.

I am so mad right now. 🤬
