Some of the things Sybil has done or said so far has me wondering if she could potentially have ADHD because of the author’s trigger warning at the start of this book.

Listening to the audiobook.

I don’t know if it’s Poppy’s constant inner dialogue, but this is taking way too long to get to why they stopped talking to each other. The fact that I’m now at the point where they finally hook up in “real time “ and we still don’t know why they stopped talking is like an editing mistake and isn’t making any sense at all. I’m going to have to switch to the audiobook to finish this one.

So far this is okay. The snarky commentary/responses/banter from Poppy is, at times, too much. Her emotional reaction to not knowing events that have happened in Alex’s life makes me wonder who stopped speaking first.

This author is hit or miss for me.

Only reading this to determine if I want to watch the Netflix movie or not.
