All I can think about while listening to this audiobook is Queer as Folk

I’m so fucking excited to read this book. If I had to hear John Green rave about one more time when I was incapable of getting my hands on it my head was going to explode.

Here we go again?? Did not expect to be reading this again so soon, but my Dad wanted me to gift him a copy of my favorite book for his birthday, so I'm annotating it.

this book is insane

I'm teaching this to tenth graders, and it's actually insane how misogynistic they can be. Like, yes, Gertude is no angel, but some of the comments they make are INSANE
