Goodness grief! How dumb can you be? She was told not to enter the circle which also meant don’t mess it up… and of course Torie does that. In addition, she has two fugitives in her house. Why would she trust them or take the chance of getting in trouble with the authorities for having them in her place? It’s so dumb!!!

I'm kind of annoyed. Eve gets majorly injured and then goes right back out after only being mostly healed. Hunter Doesn't even stay with her. Also, with everything going on, she didn't do anything to protect her store. And twice she hasn't heard when people came in. I don't know why the bell didn't work. I can't even.

This part got me since I lost my sister on Christmas 2021…

I’m relistening to this book and Dillon again is saying “you lied to me!” They’ve only just begun their sexual relationship. When she says she has no idea what he’s talking about he keeps on. “You know what you did. I saw you do it! Why aren’t you being honest!” It’s not as if she’s lied to him in the past yet he keeps trying to make her a liar. The immaturity is annoying. His jealousy was weird too at the start.

One thing that bothered me about all the characters written by this author, is that everyone seems to have low self esteem, everyone feels that everyone is lying and deceiving them, everyone can’t believe that the other person likes them. It’s weird to me.

It’s seriously aggravating me that they are using Finley’s name in the letters and that they’re being so detailed. What if someone like a demon finds one!

I just keep saying why are you so stupid… nothing she does makes sense to me. She keeps doubting everything around her. But then she also believes in every stereotype about witches when she even slightly starts to believe. I need a break.

So, her 2 friends have warned her about Devon. Steve warned her about Devon. He keeps popping up after she’s said she’s not interested. Yet, she takes a job with him. When he tried to get her to sell her home to him. And get her home condemned. And threatened her about her home. Why is she still trusting him at all?

Wait, who signed the paperwork for the apartment! That’s some bs that her BF moved in with someone else. Smh 🤦🏾‍♀️ I can’t even!

Mae just seems like such a fucking idiot... I’m not sure how I feel about this one. That’s how I’ve felt throughout the last 6 or so books.

I didn't particularly like the part in the car during the beginning when Ria was dreading one of the guys turning the radio to rap. I just felt like it was unnecessary and didn't need to be included.

I also didn't like the whole torture as an excuse to remove evil. smh.

I like a snarky badass main character but I don’t like immature brats with no manners and a bad attitude. She acts like a 10-year-old or younger a lot of the time.

I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this book but I think I'm enjoying it more than the first book in this series.

So yes, this book is absolutely wrecking my heart. I'm not sure I'm going to survive this book.

I really don't understand how people always get into places where they don't belong where there's supposed to be security? Also, that's their club! Why did Claudia and her security think they had any rights at that club?

Somewhat bored with this plot. I'll probably speed read through the rest of this book.

I really hate that Gemma was trying to make Charley talk to Denise. Gemma kept saying that she owed it to her but why? It wasn't Charley's fault that she was different growing up. But Denise made it a point to make Charley's life miserable for her whole life. Ugghhh

I'm starting to feel like this book is just like Candy Boys. And I don't like that Adrienne is pushing things. She kind of annoys me.
