This book opens with some high explosive. Looking forward to reading it this weekend!

Preparing for The Benedict Option

Of weather on the great southern plains: "The weather might display severn different moods in a year, and six of them were life-threatening."

Not very satisfied with this book. I occasionally read a book on a technical subject written at a popular level. Longitude by Dava Sobel comes to mind as an excellent example of the specie. But this book strays too far from the subject. One chapter was a screed against bisphenol-A (BPA) in the food chain. A bit of truth in advertising would go well here.

The title poem is wickedly humorous ("And where will the damned find suitable quarters?) There is an interesting Treatise on THeology as well.
