I feel like i was having a hard time seeing the feminism argument for The Exorcist. But what this book really does is make me want October for my horror movie marathon

last time i read this was like three years ago? and I don't remember crap so here we are again before Dead Beat comes out

What a strange book. How delightful in its strangeness.

My first read for the Trans Readathon (which is the 17th through the 31st!), please read up about it if you haven't heard of it! I've had this book for like a year or so, very excited to get to it!

still really liking it, but Scarlett's over thinking is killing me. like listen to your therapist!

i'm liking this way more than i expected for my very first Ali Hazelwood read ever hehehe

So far this is my least favorite Brandon Taylor. The characters drive drive me up the wall, which maybe is the point? There's just a pretention factor that I'm struggling with when it comes to some of these characters.

A very accessible version of the bombing of Hiroshima for middle grade readers, it doesn't shy away from describing terrifying scenes that may still be a little intense for sensitive readers. However, the connections the children make to the stories and their community are valuable lessons for kids to walk away with, and holds a meaningful anti-war message at the end.

Soft DNF about 100 pgs in. It's not bad! I love hockey and I love love, I may pick it up again later next year. I'm just a mood reader :/
