Only 33% in to this book and I'm already sobbing over a moose.

Always love a Murderbot. After the tv show, my brain automatically narrates with Alexander Skarsgård's voice lol! Don't ask me why it remembers how he sounds so well.

I'm not sure how much I actually have left. 51 minutes of the audiobook. But I am heartbroken right now. Good or bad ending, this is gonna get meeee! 😭

I was having fun, being led through a darkish fantasy, and then BAM! He pushed me right into a pit of cosmic horror. The Reproach section was so cool and weird. It felt very The King in Yellow. Anyway, that's why I'm already 40% through this book because I can't put it down.

So far this is definitely leaning more on romance than fantasy. I dunno, the MC basically only thinks of the guy she likes and not much else. And to be absolutely pedantic, there's some mentions of things that don't sound right in a medieval fantasy and there's one scene where they're sitting in mud, raining, but they see dust come up from the road. Girl, there's no dust in mud.

Probably the one time I think the TV show has more depth and detail compared to the book. I know they're short stories so it makes sense but it is kinda funny.

Just made me cry not even half way through. Ugh gut wrenching.
