DNF - just not that into it

Not for me… DNf

DNF - I really tried to stick with this one. It has this meandering style that I ultimately couldn’t get into and even at almost 60% through, the author was still introducing new characters and constantly cranking along this slow build, that despite its content and complexity, just couldn’t keep me invested. Maybe something to try again another time…

Struggling to get through… I might not be in the right place for this book right now. It’s a meandering style and slow reveal story development, that I don’t have the patience at the moment. I’ll leave it for now and come back to it.

Uhm, I don’t like what just happened… I need to prepare for what’s coming next, because… I feel like I’ve heard it before and still do today. 😔

This book... ugh... every time I’m ready to give up on it, something changes to pull me back in... 😏

It’s sooo very painful... this book is... just, not, good... I don’t think I can even bring myself to make it to 100 pages...

It’s starting to pick up, but... I still don’t get the plot... it’s such a meandering, chopped up slog.

Having a difficult time finishing this one... too much back and forth in the storyline is making it difficult to stay involved... it’s not holding my interest...

I hope there's a plot in here sometime soon...

Yay! The circus has arrived! I'm off to spend some quality time with my nook! ;-)

so far, so good. kind of a blend of charlaine harris's sookie stackhouse novels, but without the sookie's prissiness. A touch of the twilight saga, but without quite sooo much emotional angst.
