Strangers is such a good lesson that if you pay for a house BY YOURSELF. Do not put your partner’s name on it

This man doesn’t want the husband lifestyle but he doesn’t partake in childcare at all. No bedtime, bath, or homework with the kids. He does the bare minimum and yet she’s shocked when he doesn’t want this life??

I think content wise this book is quite interesting, I just despite the author’s writing style and it drives me berserk

Really interesting and compelling. However this does unfortunately reinforce my belief that writers in one media don’t always translate to another. Maria Ressa is a impactful and convincing journalist, but I can now truly see that writing nonfiction in long form is a different skill entirely.

Casey going to the doctor and immediately finding out that everything is wrong with her is my worse fear. I’ve been going to more doctors now that I’m on my own health insurance and man does keeping your body healthy suck.

It’s funny reading heart the lover first because it feel’s like the pieces of Casey’s life are now filling in

This book feels so blegh after reading everlasting. I’ll give it two more chapters before I DNF

The time traveling has got me all twisted and the more the story unravels the more complicated it becomes. Maybe Vivian is the true villain all along.

Whaaaaaat in the world is happening right now

First audiobook! I don’t think I’m an auditory learner unfortunately and probably miss around 30-40% of the book while doing other things. I’ve tried running while listening to this and that was the conducive to actively retaining the information.

It’s just all downhill from here isn’t it

Xanthe is a horrible name and I apologize for this strong take.

The protagonist is so delightfully insane and delusional. I love the fake AO3 and the clear nuances the author included about the fandom world. It truly mirrors these insular communities. I can see how this book is very polarizing depending on how informed you are about this culture

It’s like the author did no research on Stanford? Why is Adam worried about Olive biking? News flash! Everyone bikes at Stanford! It’s so freaking big it’s called the farm and they have dedicated bike lanes everywhere.
