Finally! Some passion! A lot of the sexuality has been siphoned out of Guild Hunter the past several books. Thank goodness we got a good Raphael/Elena scene. I enjoy the series, but it’s lost its sexy edge and I’d love for Nalini to bring it back!

I really love this word. This book would be perfect if not for so much focus on Elena’s family…I just don’t have much investment there. Elena’s family history is important to her…but I honestly skip a lot of those parts. The core mystery/danger and Vivek is far more interesting and I wish received more page time. Rehashing her trauma is running stale. I much rather more angelic history be focused.

Every time a new EJD book *isnt* a Gideon book I go through the 5 stages of grief. I read the blurb/ and I don’t want it. It I know I’ll relent because EJD is my fav author. Then I read it and I’m mesmerized. It happens time and time again! Business of Lovers was no different. I had to force myself to stop reading just to take a break and gah about it! So far- thumbs are way up!
