Belial is dead 😵 Cordelia is no longer Lilith’s paladin. None of the main characters died in the battle. When Belial died, God himself killed him and in his last cries, he shouted “Father, no!” Which I think is interesting. Maybe the prince of hell knew all along he had made a mistake betraying God and being cast out. Such a good ending!!!

They finally had sex after

Matthew and James are fighting but not fighting about Cordelia. Cordelia seems to love both of them, but who are we kidding? It's always been James and it will always be James. Matthew is great but he is a drunk and even lied to Cordelia about it the entire time they were in Paris together. James surprises them in Paris and tells Cordelia he loves her. During which he sees them making out....Cordeliaaaa girl stop

Matthew and Cordelia get ambushed by demons by the Seine River in Paris. During the fight Lilith appears and freezes Matthew while she talks to Cordelia, just to tell her that she is in control & Cordelia can’t evade her. After the fight Matthew and Cordelia makeout by the river and go back to the hotel room and while they’re getting busy—James turns on the lamp 🧍‍♂️

When Lucie and Malcolm stole Jesse’s dead body and ran off to the coast to resurrect him—Lucie’s family did not like that. Her father, brother, & magnus tracked them and found them. Jesse is now alive & not dead. They create a fake identity for him so he can rejoin society w/o questions. James is still sick about Cordelia not knowing the truth—that he loves her. Steady story so far :p

SOOO Belial and Leviathan have attacked the London Enclave and James and Cordelia face off with Belial. They ultimately want to wound him again b/c he only needs 3 wounds to die. During the fight LILITH comes in & tells Cordelia that when she pledged fealty to Wayland the Smith she actually did to Lilith who was disguised as WTS. Which is crazy & twisted. Cordelia can't handle it & it's crazy.

The Merry Thieves are still at the Shadowmarket and speak with Magnus Bane about the murder weapon they found. It’s made of Angelic stone but has demonic runes carved into it. They are trying to figure out where it came from. They conclude that it goes back to Belial still targeting them. Magnus and Cordelia will accompany James into the realm he thinks Belial is in and will spy on him to gather intel

The Merry Thieves went to the Shadow Market looking for people working with the material that was the same as the murder weapon used on the old woman. Drama ensued, James told Matthew about Grace coming to his house & how he kissed her & Matthew went off and they had a fight. James like why do u gaf!? Lucie conceals to Cordelia about working with Grace and makes a deal w Malcolm Fade so he will make Jesse alive again

As the serial killer continues slaying people, mostly shadowhunters, there is a new death. Lilian Hightower or something, she is an elderly shadowhunter & is slain outside her front door as she waters her plants. While Thomas Lightwood is patrolling alone (not allowed), he hears her scream & runs to her. She is basically dead and bleeding out. The Inquisitor & his patrol run and see him covered in blood. He is blamed

Lucie almost brought Jesse back from the dead. When she was in the in-between of life and death, was that her own dimension similarly to how her brother James has his own dimension he visits? The fact Lucie is in love with Jesse, a ghost, is crazy. Matthew told Cordelia the reason why he drinks himself to death, and told her he knows she loves James, even though their marriage is a fraud.

Cordelia’s father was just murdered and Lucie just found out about Grace’s siren ability over men and I can’t wait for her to tell everyone about it especially James so he can take off the enchanted bracelet and finally fall back in love with Cordelia.

Cordelia and James go to the engagement party of some friends. Apparently in the early 1900s when a married couple goes to a dance they do not dance with each other, which I found strange. Cordelia was dancing with her husband’s friend Matthew and I got the slightest indication that Cordelia likes Matthew, not sure though. James then broke protocol and danced the waltz with Cordelia. Very romantic 🥰

I just ended the chapter of Cordelia and James' wedding. The way CC described the wedding it sounds like it was a dream covered in yellow and golden colors. The fact Grace Blackthorn showed her face there had me baffled. She then had the gall to ask James for a private word in a secluded room. Girl bye. She is such a hussy & must be dealt with. I bet if Cordelia found out Lucie was working with Grace...not good @ all

James is starting to annoy me, how can he not see that Grace has him under some sort spell, literally. Worried that either Cordelia or James will call off the engagement or worse—not show up. Matthew is making me sad. I already don’t care for Elias’ presence and getting weird vibes from him. I don’t like Lucie and Grace working together.
