This book seems specially designed to hurt my feelings

Why are there so many characters in this book!!!! Who are these people!!!!

These two are confessing their DARKEST secrets to complete strangers that doesn’t make any sense

This book rocks

There is a lot going on in this relatively short book

Heathcliff jr is just like his dad so far

Cathy delivers a fatal blow, frankly I think she should spend a few pages yelling at him

Heathcliff, Bro, I hope you’re satisfied with your revenge cause you can’t have your cake and eat it too

‘I thought, though everybody hated and despised each other, they could not avoid loving me.’ YIKES CATHY WHAT A BAD OUTLOOK ON LIFE, GIRLY

Lockwood has an avoidant attachment style

Truly don’t understand what’s going on

Greta “I walk around parties wondering where the recycling is” and Ivan “sometimes I think I can regain control by doing everything right” have completely won by heart before page 20

I have never read a character this good at yearning before, she’s even got me beat

This is so strange

This author has- by page 26- achieved some of the best sibling dynamics I’ve ever read

Mentioning ‘the favor’ for the first time this far in is crazy. The things they’ve cut from the plot have made this incomprehensible if you haven’t previously read the book

Every once and awhile there’s randomly a completely devastating sentence in this book and I gotta set it down for a second

If these were my ‘friends’ I’d also let myself be consumed by a crazed plant

This is like that “Who’s on first” joke

Reading this while also being on family vacation is crazy

Peter is such an asshole

I thought this was gunna be set at the summer camp :/ not the spooky vibes I thought I was signing up for

That I have other responsibilities besides reading this is actually a huge crime. I’m obsessed

Sometimes characters are just way smarter than me and I just have to wait and see what their actions mean

I have not at any point known what was going to happen next but damn do I want this to work out
