didnt go the distance with this one, It just didnt grab me and life is too short to read a book that doesnt engage with you.

Strangely compelling toward the end. The ending was inevitable if a little disappointing. Never reached the quality of Lovely bones and I don't know in which order they were written. Based on the mean of this and Lovely Bones I'll definitely read more Alice Sebold

not surre yet, a little dry.

I have just finished reading the wonderfully funny book. I laughed out loud time and time again at the situations this true life story retells. Its appeal may be limited to a certain age group, as I could certainly relate to the authors childhood experiences but those younger than me may not so easily recognise the world so amusingly presented to the reader,

I dont usually read funny books, mainly becuase I have a muted sense of humour. This book has already had me laughing out loud.
