I tried. The first chapter was fantastic. Pacing was great, the thrill was there. And then it went downhill from there. Whoever edited this novel didn’t read it very closely. In the same chapter Coco talks about being married (but not legally married - how the F does that even happen?) to her husband for 10 years, then a couple pages later she says they have been together for 6 years. It feel like a chore to read.
