Have read The Rules a few times & it’s always good to have a refresher. I love how blunt the authors are. This time reading, I’m realizing how feminist The Rules are, and how this is basically an instruction book on loving yourself and leading a full life.

I’ve only read the preface & introduction and my mind is already blown by how this perfectly describes my family dynamic. Wow.

Omg this book is so cute. I’m kind of new to birding and I’ve had almost the exact same thought processes & dilemmas as Amy Tan lol. I’m very inspired & will be starting my own backyard bird chronicles.
