I don't know how is Brom doing this - though this book isn't technically hard to read, from the beginning I've had to go over it in small, measured parts, because the story has me in some odd emotional chokehold. I don't usually experience books in this way, so it makes for a unique experience... and I have to read slowly lol

desperate attempt to get myself out of a reading slump

I love any main character who seems like they would place great importance on their afternoon tea. This book passes. Alec is adorable (and I love that we get, presumably?, a main character over 50).

the vibes are great, the magic-blood-mist triad superb, but i could really really do without the romance. goddamn ravyn

could the twist finally come please so i can rest knowing that i was right?
