I forgot to mention this in my last progress update, but Ricky has a second cousin named Jenni Lee DeLuca, who supported a neighboring school district's decision to kick a Genderqueer student out of their high school musical. This is a nod to Steven Salvatore's 1st book, Can't Take That Away, meaning that it and When Love Gives You Lemons both take place in the same universe. I think that's a nice touch.

I read 3 times today, just like I did yesterday. But it's even rarer to do so on a Sunday.
