This is incredibly depressing but I don't want to stop. I got really fascinated with this case after seeing a true crime show about it.

Only at the beginning of this but I'm going to take a pause on this. The run-on sentences are driving me NUTS and I just can't get into it!
Keeping it on my "currently reading" list though, because I will get back to it and try again. But right now I'd rather pick up something I'm more interested in!

So far, I kind of like it, but it is moving WAY too slow. I hope it picks up so it doesn't feel like a chore trying to finish it before the book club I'm reading this for meets next week.

Ughh this is so boring; I was trying to plug through it, but it just lost me now that the 10-year-old son's narrative sounds NO DIFFERENT from the mother's voice. I'm just going to kind of skim through the rest so I can have an idea of what happens in the second half as I talk about how much I hated this one at the book club I'm reading this for on Tuesday night. :-)

I'm having a really hard time getting into this, if I weren't reading it for a book club I'd probably give up. It sounds intriguing but so far something about the way it's written is just making me fall asleep. Hopefully it'll start to pick up soon!

I'm having a hard time sticking with this, it isn't a hard read but I'm just kind of bored with it. I'm too far in to give up now but I want to get it over with now, but I still have a long way to go.

Oh my god I am going to have to give up on this now! Normally I LOVE her books, but I just can't get into this at all. So far I can't stand any of the characters!
Maybe I'll try again at some point--it isn't a library book--but for now I'm just done.

This one is going to take awhile since I'm just going to read a few at a time when I'm between books. One of those things I've had around forever but just delved into today

Loving this! She has a style of writing that I really enjoy. I also really liked Station 11

Only reading this for a book club, just finished the first chapter.....WOW. WTF is this????? I don't know if I'm going to be able to get into this at all.

For the second time, I've tried and found this extremely boring and hard to get into. I'm at the very beginning still though. Does it get any better?

Got this from a local author at a book fair last year but its just been sitting on my shelf, finally reading it. I was having a really hard time getting into it at first, but now I'm enjoying it. Not the best writing in the world, but its an interesting story.

Honestly pretty bored with this so far, hopefully it'll get better. Just going to push through it because I'm in a book club that is reading this and meeting on Monday.

Just could not get into this book at all. Its not due at the library yet so MAYBE I'll try to finish before Monday night's book club. Or maybe not--life is too short lol. I'll give it one more shot after I finish the one I'm actually into right now

I'm having a hard time getting into this. I think the main problem is the lack of quotation marks when characters are talking. It makes the flow of conversation feel unnatural and hard to follow.

This is my first audio book. So I can't decide why I hate it so much so far....is it the book itself, or the voice of the guy who is reading it? Either way, having a VERY hard time getting into this one

Decided to go with an easy read, already on the bored side though. Not counting the original VC Andrews books (flowers in the attic series, etc), its pretty much like if you read one VC Andrews book you've read them all.
