stopppppp the girls night scene where they’re watching notting hill and drinking martinis is everything i love girlhood

im kinda surprised by how much im enjoying this book! the reviews weren’t very promising but i took a chance and im so glad i did!

the writing is sharp and engaging, the characters are well fleshed out and the found family building is really, really good!

aaaaand the fmc and mmc are perfect too. headstrong, independent but vulnerable, protective. what’s not to love??

and EXCUSE ME BUT RYAN RALSTON???????? i would stay on my knees every single day for a book in which the mmc is so. down. bad. since the very first page. i am DYINGGGGGG

i like half of this book and also can’t stand it in the worst way- why is the fmc not taking help from literally every guy in her life, and not just the ones who are in love with her??????? like the empathetic part of me gets it, and im anticipating a very intense scene where everyone finally realizes what’s happening and they come together to save her but like why is she being so dumb
