Really nice and at times emotional book about 497 days of survival in the arctic. Every businessman should reach this. Shackleton shoots his dogs first when they needed to thin the dogs. Shows what it takes to be a hero.

Kerry’s interesting in that he comes off like an establishment dem with a mission to paternally preserve world order.

He goes through why he had a rocky career and mental illness, he has borderline personality - you can definitely see his illness, sex addict, threatens to commit suicide, lack of commitment. And he really does struggle. It’s painful watching him fail but real.
