Satisfying end to the League of Villains attack. It portrayed well All Might’s monstrous yet diminishing strength while also foreshadowing what’s to come. It also introduced more of Class 1A and pros quirks.

Great job at giving more insight into the deuteragonist, Bakugou, that makes him a more tridimensional character instead of just a one dimensional bully. Plus, a better developed rivalry is developed between him and Izuku where both characters see the other as their rival, and it’s not one sided.

Great introduction to the main character, side characters and world. It also perfectly hints at the problems with having superheroes as a paying profession, instead of a calling. The writing, characters, world and art is all great.

The FMC has me FUMING. She’s prideful and doesn’t want anyone to know her life is not “perfect”, she rather be miserable than single/alone and her 10+ y/o friends can’t tell her the truth (which she KNOWS is the truth) without fear of her cutting them out of her life.
Plus, I have not felt a single ounce of chemistry bt the MCs which makes the drunken mistake about to happen not enjoyable at all.

This is not going well.
The writing is green with a lot of over-explaining, and telling instead of showing. But I expected that and it’s not bad enough to not continue the story.
What is killing me is the FMC. I CANNOT stand her. She has all the icks.

The instalove in strong in this one.

Main reason why I love single-parent, but almost always hate it when it’s with the nanny.

I’m going to have to read a Mariana Zapata book after this one. I NEED THE DEVELOPMENT only the queen of slowburn can give me.
