this has gone from wryly humourous to sad when ruth got married and had children

this is funny in a dry way.

usually don’t like stuff that’s written in scene, scene, scene form instead of actually sticking to a specific moment and moving slowly through that but it works in this book so far.

billy’s POV is my favourite. i love the dialogue here

i didn’t highlight much but swan song might be the best story no ? i think so. i loved the bit about marriage

story 4. vera, billy even gary are perfect, francis has a very selfish attitude but it works in its off beat way

story 3, pretty good. nice to see billy’s point of view, i’m very interested in how all of this will play out
