The author learns that the 5 stages of grief were meant for those that are terminally ill, just like her I thought it was meant for all types of grief but as she writes "The Five Stages were never meant to apply to those grieving the death of a loved one. They were meant for another kind of pain."

The Chapter Rathole Revelation was soo good! About Spiritualism in America foundation and how mostly it was women's beliefs that lost its influence by the time women got the right to vote (author said probably because it also became more mainstream)
"As a political and social movement, Spiritualism became a ghost itself, a legacy of feminist liberation and belief without dogma that still haunts the land" (pg 80)
