Why is she so determined to say he doesn’t deserve a dog he clearly paid money for and prepared to raise? Bc she thinks puppies need their owners to declare their love?? bc it has a patch on its head and so do you? It’s a dog! Don’t piss me offffffffff.
Also the twist is obvious by like chapter 4. Annoying. I hate it.

Struggling a bit with this bc it sets out to be about a woman in a male dominated field and how she is able to find a man that supports her but so far he just keeps rescuing her. idk how I feel about her being a perpetual damsel in distress other than.. disappointed? annoyed?

This book is killing me. I actually think I hate Lora. She gets more unlikable as time goes by and she makes extra effort to ensure she doesn’t change or evolve or take in the world and different people’s opinions like the best researcher she supposedly is.

This book is laced with nyquil bc I can’t stay awake or care what is happening

Idk why I thought this would be a good book for me to read. I hate time jumps and quirky people. And like everyone is quirky. It’s pissing me off. DNF 🤪
