I want to like Alina Jacob’s books but there’s a cringe factor that I cannot get past. Conversations do not work this way.

I’m only holding on for James Cassidy

I’m glad that I didn’t give up on this book.

I’m going to try reading this without the audiobook and see if it’s better. I can’t stand the little kid voice. It makes my ears vibrate.

I just don’t like the MMC. Maybe it’s the audiobook or something but it’s slow and he gives me the ick.

This is my second attempt to read this book and it’s just not doing it for me.

I’m not digging this book

This is a really good book… I’ve been so disappointed with the FMCs in the books I’ve read lately and Leina is just a breath of fresh air.

This is sad.

I’m angry with Val. I understand that she’s been traumatized and is lonely but I hoped she would have tried to leave. And the tattoo IS tacky.

I am so sad for Val. She deserves better.

The narrator for the audiobook is giving me a headache: Miles.

I’m having the hardest time getting through the last 100 pages.
