I’m trying… omg do I try… Maple is killing me. It could be that I’m listening to the audiobook and reading along and Maple is very whiny.

The amount of crying Maple does is getting really really old. I cry when I get very angry but she’s a whole new level of sensitive.

Dumb dumb dumb

This doesn’t sit well with me:
“Why don’t you give your mom a shot?” Sierra said, running her hand down the front of her dress, smoothing the fringe. “She’s obviously trying to do something fun here. Maybe it’ll turn out better than you expect.”

Finn’s feelings about his mother are valid. Her major depressive episodes made her children bear the weight of adults and caretakers at a young age.

Bianca is annoying me here. She’s being stupid and asking dumb questions that were discussed the previous day.

I like this book so far but I am so sick of making the FMC a virgin. She’s 30! It makes no sense. She could just be sexless going through a dry spell and even prudish but no… she’s a virgin! Authors stop with the ridiculous virginal nonsense.

Alina clearly has OCD.

Travis is adorable and clearly neurodivergent. Elizabeth could probably benefit from therapy. She’s holding herself back from living because of the toxic relationship with her mother.
The virginity losing sex scene seemed odd and off putting to me. He didn’t prepare her and went straight for it. It wasn’t realistic that she didn’t have any discomfort and he never checked if she was okay during.

Cat is pissing me off… just keep letting everyone dump on Bennett because she’s a complete coward.

I’m uncomfortable

Why on earth is Cat suddenly trying to be an actor and getting upset about not getting the parts she auditioned for? It makes no sense whatsoever. She could be upset about something to do with cats and that would make more sense. Just make her more and more flaky.
Kindra is still as annoying as in the first book. Positive: I like Bennett and Eve and the other serial killers.

I hate Ava. She’s the worst friend.

God my hatred for her BFF just keeps growing.

I can’t stand the BBF Harper. I hope she’s offed.

Jace is the funniest. I’d like to read more stories from his POV. His verbiage… a true king lol it’s like reading a friend’s diary.

I’m not a fan of Danni. She’s just nasty to Titch and he’s a sweetheart.
