Martha is starting Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones
The author starts the book with a story of his traumatic brain injury that resulted in his needing the discipline of developing new habits in constructing his post-TBI life. I can relate to this because though my injury was less traumatic, the after effects have some similarities. This was recommended to me and perhaps it will stick more than other methods I’ve looked at.

Martha is starting The Mists of Avalon (Avalon, #1)
Been watching “Cursed” on Netflix and the way they’ve tweaked the legend made me want to reread the Arthur books that I’m more familiar with.

Martha is starting Becoming
Unfortunately my loan for this expired before I finished I was thoroughly enjoying it but had too many things on my plate to finish it in time. It is still obviously very popular since the hold time is long. I hope to finish it in the future.

Martha is finished with It's OK That You're Not OK
Came across this book in a support group for brain injury or stroke and wow does it make so much sense to me. My neck is hurting from nodding so hard in agreement or understanding at every other sentence. I got a hard copy of this book so I could maybe share it, now I'm wishing I had it on my Kindle because I want to highlight half of what I read.

I guess I had marked this book finished, but it's not yet.i was actually coming on here to mark as dnf because I was finding it so tedious, ten I realized I'm about 80% dove so I thought I'd try to push through to the end. So I'm still reading but not living it.

Actually listening, not reading. On chapter 11. Interesting so far but still waiting for the plot to kick in.

Getting close to the end, thank goodness. tired of interminable, unchanging, uninteresting fight and chase scenes; I thought this was the book that would explain everything. And it certainly described a lot of things but there's not much explanation. I'm still completely unclear on much of what's happening. Not worth rereading later books to remember if there's other explanations.

Fast read... Interesting, scary ideas you can almost see it happening for real.

Interesting, but my library loan keeps expiring. It's not a book that reads quickly.

Spoilers possible. I was ok with the evolutionary biology aspects of this story and the genetic modifications, but aliens, Really?! This seemed more creative than that.

Still intrigued, but annoyed that all units are Imperial (feet, miles) rather than metric. Scientists, even in the U.S. use metric, and certainly the international community such as in this book does. This book is highly fantastical but these little details could be kept realistic without changing the story.

I read this in college nearly 25 years ago (yikes!) and an enjoying it just as much now. I forgot how long it is but I'm blowing through it and I'm excited that there is a sequel now.
