Great so far!

I'm lose to being done but this third in the series is not my favorite. I feel like I'm plowing on just to finish. If it would have been the first in the series I wouldn't have read another.

This is a long book. Over 20 hours in the audiobook version. It seems well researched but probably could have been edited down a few hours worth. I keep wanting to get to the point of the authors contributions to mathematics and have only seen glimpses even this far into the book to explain the title. So far it has made be not want to read any of Lord Byron’s works because of the type of person he was.

It’s very interesting. I read the historical fiction book earlier and this is one of the books the author of it had used for her research. I went back to the library before I was done but I have put another hold on it

Very strong Hindu worldview. I didn’t realize that when I started reading it because it was a Christian friend who gave it a 5 star rating but about 65% of the way through it was very clear. Strange. How our assumptions can color what we read!

Too graphic for me so I’m stopping.

Wow what a woman! She did so much for the resistance in France against Hitler in a time when women were looked down on and not thought capable of what she accomplished. She had to fight tooth and nail against prejudice against woman as well as accomplish all she did. I can’t imagine how much more she could have accomplished without having to fight the system.

Very authentic. A book to chew on.

This one, unlike the other two seems like I’m reading the second in the series with different names but still I’m listening to find out what happened 8( If there was a 4th in the series I wouldn’t read it because of that.

Well written by a woman trying to document an untold story so it is written like a history not a biography. I'd love to read a biography of these women. I literally had never heard of these women.

Wow this book is like reading today's headlines about ISIS so there is a certain kind of unsettledness that comes while I am reading it yet I can't stop listening! There is some language but it's not every other page but it does include a sprinkling F bombs. No sex scenes.
