So I'm pretty intrigued. An alt world in the British interwar era with magic and mysteries. There's a lot of great build up as the main plot deepens.

The different narrators are fascinating. Loving the audiobook.

This is very hard to get through. So much repetition that it's hard to stay focused on. And Jenny doesn't seem particularly deep. Just an anxious mess of boring. Side characters are way more interesting.

Difficult, painful read so far. I can only imagine it gets darker still.

This is dragging at this point with manufacturing internal drama.

Loving the adventure with romance elements. Romancing the Stone meets The Mummy (1999) meets India Holton vibes so far. Loving Inez's scrap.

Already bored by the first person POV. Character seems shallow, needy, and very few inner boundaries. Really wish the industry would stop using repetition every 2 pages as filler.

Love the world building but this book drags. I'm just over halfway at over 200 pages and the couple basically just met. Honestly this one needs a serious edit run though. Too many repeating scenes.

Hmmm. Not sure how I feel. Mildly interesting but there's so much backstory that we've barely met a key player. Feels like The Magical Land of Leprechauns fanfic sometimes. Gonna finish but only cause free book and it's been a decade since I read Roberts.

Lord of the Flies meets The Hunger Games. I'm not sure if enjoying or hate reading at the moment.

Very interesting but it seems very long. Too much built mystery over dual timelines that don't match up. At 2.5x I still have 6 hours left and it feels forced. Like when you add filler tv episodes.

I still don't understand the connecting theme to this collection.

The humorous barbs make my heart so happy. Very Benedick and Beatrice coded. It's hard to stop reading when must.

This book has way too many characters for a single narrator in the audiobook. And I keep getting more lost.

Very good but it's hard to listen on audiobook sometimes. You lose track of teammates, traitors, and teases.

Gotta love easy to read contemporary romances.

This is kind of addictive. Such great action and political mechanisms.

There's a lot of repeating "don't fall in love." And internal monologues on hidden secrets. But I remain curious on the outcome from A to C (B will be third act breakup of course).

Henry is incredibly honest in this memoir, opening up on family dysfunction can impact life for decades long after.

A lot of dragging. Too many story lines. Very Losty in the additional tail folks. Hard to keep track of the amount of characters.

Good God this book is *DULL*. So much internal monologue. I will finish this to see if I'm right but these characters never mature.

Creepy and spooky without being horrific. A nice balance for me.
