This looks like the kind of book I would adore if I were in fourth grade, so I’m going to go ahead and enjoy it in my fifth decade.

I can’t believe how long I waited for this. I guess I’ll finish it.

This book = what Tawni O'Dell and Neil Gaiman might co-author.

Dunne happened to be at the Hyatt hotel the same night of the infamous Les Zeppelin soirée depicted in Almost Famous, and this is just one of the countless times he crossed paths with the illustrious before reaching age 20.

The reader voicing the book is lovely to listen to, except that she’s mispronounced two words so far. (I know I’m picky and this is why I could never pursue that professional path! I’d lose way too much time double-checking such things and my income would suffer.)

Menarche and socs (from The Outsiders) are the words.

Gasping with indignation every other page!

Something about the author’s vocals for the audio version got into my brain and linked Bunny to Piggy from Lord of the Flies. Now I can’t unsee the similarities! (Knowing I can’t be the first person this has dawned on, I Googled it but found little. I should check databases instead.)

Out of all the non-fiction books I read this year, Invisible Woman: Exposing Data Bias in a World Designed for Men stands out because I continue to think about it.
