also, laughing my arse off that even if this world apparently the troubles (basically) still exist lmaooo

currently reading this to my kid at bedtime because she is obsessed with us reading encyclopaedias to her until she crashes

as someone that has watched the remake of bedazzled with brendan fraser and liz hurley at least 800 times i don’t know if i can finish this book??? There are moments in the prose that aren’t just inspired by the film but directly rip the dialogue, its uncanny as hell and i don’t know how an editor didn’t pick up on it what the hell
