Another good Ruta read. I love how truth is mixed with a little fiction to bring her stories to life. This was an interesting take on code breakers and intelligence moving in the 1930s. Kids as young as 14 were employed taken these intelligence groups. So interesting.

Am I the only one that feels these books could be 100-200 pages less? I like the spin on the Bible story, but it’s too long.

This book took way too long to finish. I was engaged the whole time but my brain just isn’t able to function at the end of the day. It was really good. The ending was a bit of a let down. But it was still worth it.

I feel something very darling brewing.

So good. The empowerment. The tension. The growth. The ending! Loved it all!

Cute. And proof that 600 pages is WAY too many! Favorite quote- “But I’m not sure you can be spoiled by love.”

So. Good. Very intense at times, but so good. I very much appreciated the redemptive end.

First of all, I didn’t realize this was a #3. I don’t think it matters. This is ok. If you like high school stories about real life, this is for you.

This was so relatable. I really enjoyed this read.

Not as good as other books by this author but still good. I love the narrator she uses, Rebecca Soler. A solid 3.75 stars.

This book is giving me all the feels! I feel a sad ending coming!
