all i’m doing this summer is reading devastatingly romantic classic novels (also watching love island, I contain multitudes)

I generally judge the success of a non-fiction book by how much I want to talk about it with my friends while I’m reading it - this book definitely does that and has made me ask my friends about religion of all things!

I used to work with Lamorna, her first book came out while we were colleagues and it was so delightful to discover she’s such a thoughtful and skilled writer. I love the way she tells human stories and am so excited to see how they’re woven into this new book
