Aurora > Recent Status Updates

I'm only 80 pages in but I'm feeling things. First, it feels more like a medical journal than a romantasy. This is one thing that throws me off so much. I'm not sure whether I want to continue reading about gross things.
Second, the language is bit of a stretch. I'm no dictionary, I need to be a dictionary to read this.
There is no world building. Can't even decide on which timeline am I soused to imagine this book.

It is so wordy. A lot of tell rather than show and I'm struggling to keep up even though it's an interesting story.
