I'm so confused as to how messy this sequel is compared to book 1? Did they change editors or spend less time editing?? It's not the grammar, but the actual crafting of scenes/plot and characterization. There's zero chemistry and the surface level emotions to everything else are baffling when book 1 has ALL the feels.

I'm half-way through and there is romance, no sexy tension, no sex of any form. Instead, we have an MC who is killed in the intro chapters by what we're now supposed to accept will be his future harem of 4 males the whom MC will somehow fall in love with...? After they betrayed him and murdered him?

It's an unholy mess and since I'm not getting as refund at this point, might as well finish and rate it.
