3/4 of the way in & I've decided I don't really like this book. It's palletable, but I couldn't care less about the characters. Maybe I picked the wrong order to read it in?

I'm into the Tales of the Albatross & each time the narrator crosses to a new body, I'm less and less interested in their journey. It seems so aimless and like we're just meandering our way through a plot, if there even is one.

This one seems a bit slower to get into than the first. I guess the novelty of the characters has worn off. That or the point where we meet Tristan in book one vs book two is less compelling to me.

So far I've gathered that Zélie has white hair. She is different because she has white hair. People don't like her because of her white hair. She causes trouble because of her white hair. People avoid her when they see her white hair. How many more times is she going to bring up her white hair??
