Started this last year. I agree with about 90% of what Kingsnorth writes here. Imo, worth reading, regardless of your political persuasion.

So far, this has been difficult to get into. Confusing scenarios, the character motivations are opaque. Some of the characters are so loosely drawn that I’m having trouble remembering who they all are.

Anyone who has read this, does it get better?
