Chapter 6 is one of the MMCs shrugging over everything and the FMC has switched to rolling her eyes at everything. 🙃

“I shrugged” has been said about 8 times in the few pages I’ve read. Not optimistic for the remainder of the book.

I've come across FIVE TIMES the word "distinguished" is used when the author meant "extinguished". I know it's petty but it kinda bugs the crap out of me.

It’s been a while since I read the first 2 books in this series. I don’t remember the FMC being such a bitch. Considering DNFing this one 😕

I think I need a break from this series. The first 3 books were so intense and full of emotional turmoil that the "MC loses their power" trope is a lot to handle at this point. I may revisit but poor GR reviews about recycled plot lines aren't making me feel good about continuing.
