Putting this on my dnf, might come back later idk. The first chapter alone just didn't do it for me and normally I make it further than that (and I tried 2 more chapters) but I'm tired of forcing things I can't get into.

I'm not gonna lie, I went into this blind as a bat, but I rock with it so far.

I already don't like this book. 😬

Now this isn't too much of a slow burn, more like a medium pace burn? I like it so far. I'm looking forward to continuing tonight. 👀

I don't know if I can finish this book. I struggle with books that are too predictable and so far i think I know how this is gonna go. I won't know unless I finish it, but I'm not as drawn to this book as I wish I was and I'm uncertain I'll be able to see it out. Unfortunately it might end up in my dnf.

I don't know what it is about this book, but I'm having a hard time keeping interest. Part of me wonders if it's cause I'm trying to read at work and I'm getting sleepy. Gonna give something else a try and see if the exhaustion is universal or if it's the book. 🤔

Hubby convinced me to keep giving it a chance. So here we are. It's still dragging. Ughhhhhh I am torn between dnf'ing and seeing it through.

I feel like this book has a pretty slow start. I'm holding onto faith, but it isn't keeping me intrigued. I THINK I will keep giving it a shot, but if I don't see some progress I might have to set it down and come back to it.
