Good addition to the series. I especially enjoyed the marriage of science, technology with Magic and its explanation of how these can coexist. This was a very fun book.

Did not finish. I was so appalled at the amoral behaviour of the main character in this book that I had a friend take this novel back to Paris to throw it into the Seine with all the other rubbish. Absolutely would not recommend to anyone. It felt like watching a Gus Van Saint movie as that director also aims to disquiet and disturb its audience.

This book is excellent.

I wanted to burn this book but didn’t find the opportunity. Then I left it in a hotel room and room service returned it to me. I can yet burn it.

This book makes me so unhappy when I read it. The protagonist is despicable and the theme is generally just fucking bizarre. I don’t know how anyone thought this worthy of acclaim.

I’m reading this book to get inside the head of a cheating wife. I want to hear her self justifications. It’s really seems like this is quite easy for her. What a fucking terrible person. If I manage to finish this abomination of the story I’m going to burn it in a bucket with A picture of and a possession of my wife.

I saw this book in the airport bookstore. The book synopsis and a few Goodreads reviews told me it really sounded a lot like what my wife was going through with her abandonment of our marriage for polyamourous opportunities. Exactly that had lead me to this airport library as a newly, and still shell shocked single man. Maybe reading this smut piece will clarify a little about what the fuck she was thinking.

My wife left me before I finished this book. The book didn’t help. She took 1 month to go from “I want a divorce” to “I want to have sex with my best friend and her boyfriend while you watch ours kids”. The marriage failed quite rapidly after that.

This book is a enlightening view into my Partner’s developmental world view. Would have been good to have read a few years ago.

Kinda forgot about this for a while. Might continue at some point. The story isn’t interesting and I’ve been treating and this one as a “skip everything to the next sex scene “ kinda quality of writing.

This book is a slog. I’m back to want to DNF this story. Even when it does start to give some explanation to what the heck has been going on I still dont care.

Finished again. This was just as god the second time and I picked up a lot more details.

Diminished Book Five. Was very underwhelmed and needed background. Book five just felt like a collection of leftover ideas and plot endings. I immediately restarted this on audible for the Bobiverse feelings I had been seeking I. Book Five. One bonus of this reread is. Ow that so know the secret behind Starfleet all the foreshadowing I. Book four seems a lot more obvious.
