It's weird how at the beginning of the book she said she wanted to be treated like an Agent, not like a Female Agent. Then few chapters later she judges a general for picking a fight with a woman (her)

such a promising one, but so far i'm kinda disappointed. nothing new for me. i guess i'm such a genius that i've read all the self-help motivational books out there and nothing impresses me anymore hehe

Well wow, that was a very graphic and expressive, beautifully written description of 9/11

plot is awful, but what i like is the characters's monologue and chain of thoughts, hits home unironically

"The chains and the silence, which should have bound her deep within herself, which should have smothered her, strangled her, on the contrary freed her from herself"

it's making me hella uncomfortable. reminds me of the vibes of a man writing from a woman's pov. but it's what i decided i'd read this december so i will.
