Quite fun.

I have to f9rce myself to slow down reading this and savor it like I did weavingshaw so I can mentally live in this book. Love Soren I this!

Its so nice to be back in this world again. Pen is once again taking the world on his shoulder and Soren in just enjoying his life in his kingdom. Id taken Soren anyway. Breath of fresh air.

I just read the most realistic cry in a book and I FELT as if I was also trying my hardest not to cry. I am really enjoying this.

The conversations are actual conversations. Its been a while since I've noticed characters just chilling and talking for chemistry and not a next action to advance the plot.

Yup, still loving this. Perhaps its because its an ebook and I am more immersed vs an audiobook. Love the banter

The book picks up maybe around 70% the plot is very light but now we are diving into how the tears help which is the most interesting part, but not by much.

Not very far In yet but so far so good. I'm enjoying both fmc and mmc and their interactions. One is waiting for the other to strike and the other is trying not to be in the way and be self sufficient but can't. Quite a fun dynamic so far.

Who is this Stark? I don't recognize this man. A lot of tell not show for all parties. Lucian is a fun character and I am beginning to wonder its because we don't have his pov for which I'm grateful.

Its alright so far but outside of everyday life and a looming threat of Killian recruiting people...what's the driving factors here? I love political intrigue but as an interlude not court politics 24/7

Loving this! Picks up right where shards of earth ends. Found family, helping those who need help even though you also need belp, finding their way forward and taking the risk to trust. Hitting some of my favorite things and flying through. Love it.

I found wonderwoman. Truth telling magic lasso and all. Vengence for dead parents and old friend turned enemy. Lots of hurt and rage. This might be a bit too YA for me.

It took ~20% in for me to get back into this world. I didn't quite remember what happened at the end of the first book so I was a bit confused going in. The characters I remember though! So I kept going for them. Now invested and having a good time.

Barely into this but poor Pio. "If monarchs must be mad, could they not also do him the favor of being stupid?" Love it.

Fun political intrigue with magical plants and adventure. Creative plant magic and characters are drawing me in. Don't quite care about Ben though, but I dont love the 'prince trapped under the kings rule' kind of storylines as much anymore.

Historical fiction is not my favorite but Katherine arden has grabbed my attention from her previous trilogy. This one has just enough to keep me invested with the supernatural side.

Already way better than book 4. Its just a fun time with low stakes. Somehow Az got forced into participating in a protest and it made me smile

Things arevjust better when you physically read them. So far I am loving this book. Its mysterious, the characters dont fall instantly but you can see the small hints of them slowly coming around. There is a creepy factor just in the background that I am here. Love the world and things slowly unveil.

This book made me cry - in a good way. This hits close to the heart for me.

Loving thisbl so far and I really didnt think I would! Comedy, healing and romance galore.

About time. I almost Dnfd this book because I wanted to follow the characters from the first book, not this new one. If I hadn't read spoilers I would have.

I'm so intrigued. This is one author that I think I will always pick up. Love it so far!

This is a decent read so far, but I fear the audiobook highlights the writing but stronger than I imaging reading the actual book. I'm noticing things that bug me that I don't think would if the voice I read on paper vs the voice I hear in the audiobook. So if you pick this up I'd suggest the actual book.

As for the story - Its not bad, but entertaining enough with some unique elements.

This is what I expect from a cozy fantasy. Not sure if it is or not, but a very comfortable adventure of new beginnings, family and history. This js my first Nora Roberts, so far so good. The characters are the star of the show.

I'm loving this so far!

Finally, some actual action. The fmc is alright, Hal is just boring and now we get Fox. Someone who actually has presence.
