This has an interesting magic system. Girl trying to solve the mystery as to why her sister was killed. The relationship is less interesting but I'm here for the mystery

I wish this book was a subplot of a better story. Lor has to somehow survive these trials to marry the King who clearly will not care despite what it seems. I am waiting to see the discovery of why Lor is important.

I enjoyed the very beginning, but the story took s shift where it lost me a bit. Normally the shift wouldn't lose me but I think I'm just not in the mood for it.

Interesting, but unfortunately this type of story I feel needs a specific mood that I am rarely in.

This is entertaining enough in the way of 'thats a problem, glad its not problem' kind of way. Its a nice change of pace from the fantasy genre.

Perfection. Just what I was looking for and I didn't even know it. A standalone that is just a wonderful story, a small romance and a murder to be solved.

This is a good fun read. Full of charm, personality and an interesting take on magic.

Alright. Giving this a third go to try to see why people love this. This time it is the dramatized audiobook. So far so good.

I don't know if I can do another 2 books of this. The first book was fun and interesting, the second was fine. This one is parts of a plot thats interesting with so much love triangleish drama and random sex that I'm just over it.

I honestly thought this was going to be some weird Bridgeton romance nested with some trials, but so far this is actually quite interesting world wise. Kinda reminds me of a doctor who episode. Enjoying it so far.

This is a background read so far. I love vampires, but this is very tell not show. At 30% we get some semblance of an attempt at chemistry between these two.

This is actually quite cute. Human parents are now raising little werewolf in a magical school. Its awkward and fun. They are navigating how the society works and make their kids life as fulfilling as possible in this new world. Kinda harry potter but with hermione being a werewolf and hogwarts had a pta.

Quite fun.

I have to f9rce myself to slow down reading this and savor it like I did weavingshaw so I can mentally live in this book. Love Soren I this!

Its so nice to be back in this world again. Pen is once again taking the world on his shoulder and Soren in just enjoying his life in his kingdom. Id taken Soren anyway. Breath of fresh air.

I just read the most realistic cry in a book and I FELT as if I was also trying my hardest not to cry. I am really enjoying this.

The conversations are actual conversations. Its been a while since I've noticed characters just chilling and talking for chemistry and not a next action to advance the plot.

Yup, still loving this. Perhaps its because its an ebook and I am more immersed vs an audiobook. Love the banter

The book picks up maybe around 70% the plot is very light but now we are diving into how the tears help which is the most interesting part, but not by much.

Not very far In yet but so far so good. I'm enjoying both fmc and mmc and their interactions. One is waiting for the other to strike and the other is trying not to be in the way and be self sufficient but can't. Quite a fun dynamic so far.

Who is this Stark? I don't recognize this man. A lot of tell not show for all parties. Lucian is a fun character and I am beginning to wonder its because we don't have his pov for which I'm grateful.

Its alright so far but outside of everyday life and a looming threat of Killian recruiting people...what's the driving factors here? I love political intrigue but as an interlude not court politics 24/7

Loving this! Picks up right where shards of earth ends. Found family, helping those who need help even though you also need belp, finding their way forward and taking the risk to trust. Hitting some of my favorite things and flying through. Love it.

I found wonderwoman. Truth telling magic lasso and all. Vengence for dead parents and old friend turned enemy. Lots of hurt and rage. This might be a bit too YA for me.

It took ~20% in for me to get back into this world. I didn't quite remember what happened at the end of the first book so I was a bit confused going in. The characters I remember though! So I kept going for them. Now invested and having a good time.
