Fun political intrigue with magical plants and adventure. Creative plant magic and characters are drawing me in. Don't quite care about Ben though, but I dont love the 'prince trapped under the kings rule' kind of storylines as much anymore.

Historical fiction is not my favorite but Katherine arden has grabbed my attention from her previous trilogy. This one has just enough to keep me invested with the supernatural side.

Already way better than book 4. Its just a fun time with low stakes. Somehow Az got forced into participating in a protest and it made me smile

Things arevjust better when you physically read them. So far I am loving this book. Its mysterious, the characters dont fall instantly but you can see the small hints of them slowly coming around. There is a creepy factor just in the background that I am here. Love the world and things slowly unveil.

This book made me cry - in a good way. This hits close to the heart for me.

Loving thisbl so far and I really didnt think I would! Comedy, healing and romance galore.

About time. I almost Dnfd this book because I wanted to follow the characters from the first book, not this new one. If I hadn't read spoilers I would have.

I'm so intrigued. This is one author that I think I will always pick up. Love it so far!

This is a decent read so far, but I fear the audiobook highlights the writing but stronger than I imaging reading the actual book. I'm noticing things that bug me that I don't think would if the voice I read on paper vs the voice I hear in the audiobook. So if you pick this up I'd suggest the actual book.

As for the story - Its not bad, but entertaining enough with some unique elements.

This is what I expect from a cozy fantasy. Not sure if it is or not, but a very comfortable adventure of new beginnings, family and history. This js my first Nora Roberts, so far so good. The characters are the star of the show.

Finally, some actual action. The fmc is alright, Hal is just boring and now we get Fox. Someone who actually has presence.

So far so good. The beginning was good, the middle so far is a bit slow, but I'm still enjoying it so far. Intriguing enough magic system that is fun to learn about.

Riven has finally arrived! But he feels too soft now. I enjoy men who worship their women, but Riven is just...sitting on the sidelines being emotional support, lacking the shadow strength he had in the first book. I love that we get more of Killian and found family vibes are a comfort.

So far so good. Love a book opener where somebody gets punched in the face. No mmc though at the 20% mark which is an odd choice considering the last book he was pretty essential to the plot.

I'm LOVING this. Finally, earned yearning. I was intrigued by the characters and the world. Nothing too outstanding, but they had personality. I also love how the distrust is still fresh and alive throughout the journey but seeing the ice thaw past the half way point of the book makes me so happy. You need time to build a relationship.

When the dark is dangerous and possibly forced sleep. Quite interesting so far.

There is a polite talking bear. Already thrilled.

I love the "ypu took my sister and now you must die" vibes thay are happening. Too bad its probably the wrong thing to do.
