Equal participation of women in the work force, is the prerequisite for the author(s) hypothesis to work! If the authors..only by 2085, 100% opportunity will be available...the 5 stage model will fall apart. Also if the child bearing age will stick stubbornly as-is today. So it becames the moral obligation of the authors to dwell into the question - is child rearing less important than building a career?!

Looks at time very outlandish in prescribing. How practical is it to implement?

Just finished Chapter 3... interesting...explosive. But can everything be believed esp the numbers and facts. The overall theme no doubt we know India was exploited by the colonial holocaust

Finished Blue and Black....went off smooth. Interesting...

Strated with the Himalayan Club, reading has got slow. Last chapter on Jhansi, Mohamedan Mother and Tantya Tope were like story got done faster

I have read so far three chapters...Jhansi, Tantya tope and Mohamedan mother. I am still trying to digest the Mohamedan mother...not sure what it was

Loving the tit-bits. First time I reading a book on the social life, interesting give an insight into the daily life, food habits, pets, social like of British in India, How the natives were treated by English. The travel from Britain to India via Alexandria / Cairo. Definitely enjoying and getting a lot of information

Finished it. Good book start with... but not worth the Rs 300 I paid. As many have said it is very elementary, if you run through some of your high school text books and some amount of Google you should get what the author wanted to convey!

Still skimming through the book...not gotten into serious reading. With that my thoughts has been - a good start on this topic, cost doesn't justfy the quality and quantity of the book. Since it is my first book on the topic...will read

Very less pages...small..thin book. First time i am paying ₹330 for a 60page book!?

It got very interesting as the pages moved on, hardly wanted to leave the book until I completed it. As the author writes it is the process which was heinous, what both Mother-Son followed to achieve though the cause/results may be noble. The cronies like Bansi Lal, Dawan and others is so shameful. I am not sure who their conscious permitted them to leave a "normal life"!?....
