It got very interesting as the pages moved on, hardly wanted to leave the book until I completed it. As the author writes it is the process which was heinous, what both Mother-Son followed to achieve though the cause/results may be noble. The cronies like Bansi Lal, Dawan and others is so shameful. I am not sure who their conscious permitted them to leave a "normal life"!?....

Getting interesting. I could connect to my childhood and Malleswaram locality in Bangalore, mentioned by Lawrence (brother of George Fernandece). As many reviewers have mentioned I too had heard "at home" the high-handedness of Sanjay Gandhi... god things were so bad!

Going slow....I am realising a lotsa of politicians like VC Shukla, Sidaratha S Ray (ex Governor of Punjab) was the primw member of Mrs Gandhi's team to formulate emergency and more.
