This was a great book! Very thought provoking, easy to read and I enjoyed it! Still a bit heavy in places but felt like an appropriate October read :)

Depressing AF but very well written.

This is my Auntie's book of her life as she remembers it. It was an interesting read for me for many reasons. I can hear her voice throughout it, I find some stories familiar and I also bring my own adult perspective and understanding to it. My Auntie is not perfect, no one is, but I love her and am glad to have had the opportunity to read more about her life and understand her, perhaps, a little better.

This took me an AGE to read! I don't think it was as well written as the first book and the plot was predictable and then getting to the ending a bit like banging my head against a wall...but give it a go, you may enjoy it! It followed on from a great first book.

I don't know why it's taking me so long to read this...
