I am so irritated by this book and a bit bummed because I had high expectations due to how much I enjoyed the other book I read by the same author. IDK why, but every single character, EVERY LAST ONE, just pisses me off.

Over 500 pages is ridiculously long to carry two main characters that I absolutely loathe 🙄🙄🙄

I'm enjoying it so far. Started the book after watching the first season. It's definitely got some very dated views on women. Defaulting their perceptions by the main character as secretary or dental hygienist-like despite Roscoe being an officer. Has me eye rolling here & there. The author's setting descriptions are getting a bit too repetitive. Can skip over the repeats & just save us the time & page space lol
