Love it. I knew very little about this book before reading it, aside from the fact that Gatsby was very rich. Wasn't sure if I'd like it & have been delightfully surprised.

I started reading this book a couple of weeks ago. And I stopped reading it a couple of weeks ago. Not sure if I'll be able to finish it. I'm sorry to say that it's just not very good. (I kinda wish I had stopped after reading book 1 because I still had a high opinion of the series, and now I've been soured...)

Things are finally happening, which is good, but the writing is much less refined than in book 1. I feel like I'm reading a rambling first draft rather than a polished final copy. Even so, I'm interested enough to carry on.

Amy is on page 204 of 391 of Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2)

A bit disappointing because not a lot has happened yet, and Katniss seems to be a much weaker and indecisive person than she was in the first book. And while early on you suspect where the story might be headed, it drags on until you get confirmation that the story will indeed go in that direction on p 174. That's almost halfway in, an awfully long time to commit to feel like the story is finally going somewhere.

I'm currently re-reading Bone Machine (my husband's book) in preparation for the new edition we'll be putting out soon. I always remembered I loved it, but I gotta say, I love it even more reading it again. (You can't beat a great robot book!) Now I'm more excited than ever to release the new edition.
